Specific recommendations for Spain which manages the European Commission for the 2012-2013 period
1.Implementar fiscal strategy as planned, submit specific and detailed multi-year measures to underpin the budgetary targets for 2013 and subsequent years and ensure the achievement of the deficit targets at all levels of government. This includes the adoption of additional measures in the regions in line with the approved adjustment plans and strictly applying the new provisions of the Stability Law for transparency and control of the budget. From 2013, ensure a proper fit structure to ensure they make sufficient progress to achieve the deficit targets in the medium term, including compliance with the spending ceiling.
