The Executive allocated between 1,600 and 1,800 million euros to increased tourism activity and profitability. Among the other objectives of the Comprehensive Plan and National Tourism approved this morning by the Council of Ministers, which shall remain in force until 2016, there are also employment generation, market unity and improved the international position of the mark Spain.
"This plan aims to improve the competitiveness of the tourism sector to make this drive motor and one of the areas on which to settle the country's economic recovery," stressed the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria in the press conference after the Council of Ministers.
