The Coalition for Access is a civil society platform that requires the adoption and implementation of a law on access to information.
-------------------------
The Coalition for Access is a platform that was created in October 2006 to promote the adoption and implementation of a Law on Access to Information in Spain, because Spain is the only country in the European Union over a million population that has no specific law governing the right of access to information.
The right of access to information is a fundamental right recognized by international law for many constitutions and more than 80 national laws around the world. It is also known as the right to know and freedom of information.
Implies the right of everyone to seek and receive information by public bodies. In turn, obliges public bodies to publish information about their functions and costs proactively.
The Coalition for Access is a platform formed by civil society organizations and individuals, open to new members. The founding members play the role of steering committee, however, other NGOs and individuals may join the Coalition as a way to show support and participate in actions to promote greater transparency in public administration. To adhere, you can contact us by sending an email to: coalicion@proacceso.org

Campaign 100 Question
The Campaign of the 100 questions is a collective effort and participation, or rather an experiment to measure how transparent are the government of Spain. We wanted to find out exactly how the government would seek a private citizen to file a request for information. For this reason we decided to present the questions as we have been sent by various individuals who have been involved in the Campaign of 100 Questions to send yours. We collect all these individual questions in a database, and we are making continuous monitoring of the responses (if any!) Of government. Click here for more information or to submit your question.
