The Madrid university conducted a lockdown last night in public schools to protest against rising fees and cuts in education. Both workers and students were called for a strike today to show their dissatisfaction with educational reforms and cuts Minister Jose Ignacio Wert. Students have held meetings at night and have informed the comrades who have gone to the campus this morning. Today most classes have developed normally although some chains are formed to prevent other students from entering classrooms and has come to form a barricade.
The Complutense, about 300 university faculties have slept. Most of them in the School of Politics and Sociology, where they stayed about 150 people, according to the institution.
