The Athens Stock Exchange today was driven by uncertainty in Cyprus and statements by the head of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, about the model could be exported to other countries and ended down 4.90%.

The greatest losses of the banking sector recorded the action of Pireaus Bank fell 8.62%, followed by Banc of Hellenic, Cypriot subsidiary of Hellenic Bank which recorded losses of 5.37% and that of AlphaBank, which fell 3.57%.
