More than once one travels by subway and his next door neighbor takes a nap. The sometimes long distances foster the desire for a nap. And on top of the tour is not round, but back, ie the way home after a night out, even more. Precisely these travelers were the perfect victims for a gang specialized in robbing people who fell asleep in the subway.
Well dressed, looking back from a night of partying and aged between 18 and 30 years. So a group of suspected acted thieves, called chinaores, who robbed travelers who used the subway early in the day. The Mobile Brigade officers, who monitor public transport, have arrested four members just after committing a robbery in Aluche station, as reported this morning the Police Headquarters in Madrid.
The group's modus operandi was always the same. Attending underground stations between six and eight o'clock. They were arranged and used knives to slit the trouser pockets, purses and jackets and thus grab purses, phones and purses. Advantage that travelers were sleeping after having been partying.

The arrest of the group came last Sunday when two officers from the Mobile Brigade detected a subway line 5 as this group was acting. One of them approached a traveler, Pedro G. F., 25, who began stealing. This woke up and the attackers away from deposing his attitude, he was shown a large machete while threatening him: "Stay still or I'll cut you."
The thieves took away a mobile phone and travel pass. When the train stopped, the two officers who were in plain clothes, tried to stop them. One of them received an elbow to the face. Three escaped downstairs. As they fled, they got rid of the weapons they carried. The fourth was arrested at the time, as explained by the Mobile Brigade officer Jorge Rojo.
The other three alleged members of the group were arrested by agents of America Precinct. All lived in the camp area. They were seized two machetes. One of 47 centimeters and another 49.
The detainees, a Spanish and Dominican, are between 18 and 23 years. They have a history among all 17 on charges of fraud and theft with violence and intimidation (robbery).
