Nazli Shahnaz, 41, was killed by two men way of their work in Pakistan. It was a girls' school teacher, a profession of risk in the Khyber district, near the border with Afghanistan to strong Islamist presence. At 200 meters from the school was shot two men on a motorcycle, as have local agencies.
The Government representative Asmatullah Wazir has said that "the teacher was killed after two unidentified gunmen shot and the flee. We have arrested 18 suspects to find the culprits. "The murder has not been claimed.
The crime is connected with other cases of violence to prevent the education of girls and women in areas controlled by the Islamists. Among the highlights of the past is that of the girl last October Malala, who has just returned to school after recovering in the UK from wounds caused by a blog defending the right to education for girls.
Some analysts tie in this action with increased violence before the elections on May 11. Nazli was married and had a son.
