Lending to households by Spanish financial institutions in March reached the 820.183 million euros, representing a decline of 4% in the outstanding balance of the banking Devoler against the level it was a year ago. After this cut, which can also be read as a decrease in household debt, funding back to its lowest level since May 2007.
According to provisional data released by the Bank of Spain, of these 820 183 000 euros the most part, up to 77%, corresponding to loans contracted for the purchase of housing, which is down 4% to levels August 2007. The loan carries Spanish families and four consecutive months down, after the increase in November 2012.
Data from the agency headed by Luis Maria Linde demonstrate the problems of households and businesses to access funding, which acknowledged Thursday the president of the ECB, Mario Draghi.
To reduce this fragmentation of capital markets, as is known in the jargon of the problems and high differentials payable by Spanish companies and families facing the center of the eurozone for a loan, the Central Bank has set up a team. Your task will be to search and analyze the necessary steps with a view to reviving the financing to SMEs, although still in a very initial stage.
