main results-The Spanish economy registered aquarterly growth0 ,4%atfirstquarter2014,ratetwotenthstopthan estimated in thelast quarter of 2013.-thegrowth over thesame quarter last yearis in the0,5%,frontto the-0.2%ofquarterprecedent.-thedataquarterly growth coincideswiththepublished in the advance estimate of GDPquarterlydlast April 30. For its part,the annual growth datais reviewedone tenth ( 0.5% vs. 0.6 % ).-The contribution to aggregate growthdomestic demandthis ispoint and threetenthsabove therecordedin the previous quarter, Ranking0,7points ,whilethatexternal demandiorreducestheir contribution to quarterly GDP in six tenths from thelast quarter(of0,4to-0.2points) .-theemploymenteconomyin terms of equivalent jobs in timecompleto records aquarterly changeof0,1%,similar to that experienced in theprevious quarter.-In annual terms, theemploymentdescendat a rate ofof0,3%, decrecimiento onepunto threetenths lower than a registeredin the fourth quarter or 2013,which is anet reduction ofabout55thousand jobsequivalenton timecomplete in one year. For its part, the hours actually workedcpray at a rateannual of0,1% .-Growthlabor costunitaryis situa this quarter in-0.9%,threetenthsbybelowthe implicit GDP deflator.

Thus,andl growththe European Unionthis istenth lowerthan in the previous quarter ( 0.4 % ) WHILEs thatin the case ofEurozone remains ( 0.2%).Emong the major European economies PERFORMANCEent is mixed. On one hand,Germany and the UKrecordedhigher growth ( Alemania goes from 0.4% to 0.8% andUk0.7%0.8%).
