Credit demand from households for consumption increased in the fourth quarter of 2013 for the first time since the crisis began, due to improved consumer confidence and increased spending on durable goods , according to the latest survey bank loans from the Bank of Spain that closes a year that has suffered a collapse in lending unparalleled statistics.
