The Federal Reserve believes that subsidiaries of Spanish banking group Santander and BBVA meet the minimum requirements applicable to entities operating in the United States to face a situation of severe crisis. Only one institution , Zions Bank, of the 30 examined by the financial regulator suspended the ultimate test of endurance.
