Foreign investment in Spain grew again in 2013 with an increase of 8.8 % to over 15,800 million euros, following the departure of the recession and the gradual return of confidence in the country. The rise is explained by the increase in 42% of the money that came to the financial and insurance activities , which in fact was the paragraph that moved greater amount of funds with 3.140 million.
Next upside the focus on financial activities, improvement coincides with the recovery of markets for equities and bonds over the past year , investment has also increased in the real estate sector after the collapse that followed the bursting of the bubble and the financial crisis. Specifically , up 66 % to 1.787 million . The construction sector receives 22 % more money from the outside, with 1.437 million .

Halting the divestment
This positive development was due , above all, the strong brake disinvestment process , which was reduced by 82 %, from a capital outflow of 22,720 million in 2012 to an outflow of 4,085 in 2013. In addition , production also fell divestments ( -33.4 %) and ETVE divestment , which fell by 98.4 % and stood at 271 million versus 16.992 million last year.
García- Legaz said that assessment is "good " because it has achieved the fourth best year of net foreign investment in Spain , from which it follows that 2013 was a year "reasonably good" for investment despite falling of GDP. The recovery of this statistic is added to the record of foreign investment in government debt that was reached in late 2013 .
HSBC: Spain 's recovery is faster than expected
The recovery of the Spanish economy has been faster than expected after the investment and household consumption manage to grow in the latter part of 2013 despite the difficulties of access to credit and inadequate improvement in the labor market , according to HSBC. Therefore, the bank has raised its growth expectations for Spain in 2014 and 2015 with 0.7 % and 1.1 %, four and two tenths .
Looking ahead , the company expects the clear improvement in financial markets will result in improved conditions for more funding than previously estimated and this allows for recovery of investment . The recovery comes, adds HSBC, the banking sector.
However, the British bank notes that the Spanish labor market has barely improved in the last year , while the indebtedness of households and businesses remains still high and virtually no inflation makes it harder deleveraging , so domestic demand will remain low. Thus, do not expect the unemployment rate in Spain down 26% until the second quarter of 2015, when experts estimate a British institution unemployment of 25.8 %.
