The defendant stated that he had not stolen the fossil-profit, but to denounce alleged irregularities committed by the team of researchers from the Catalan Institute of Paleontology Miquel Crusafont (ICP), responsible for the excavation of the site of Pinyes located on a farm of his property. Josep Maria M. N. said simply changed the fossil site moving it about 200 meters.
