The Fund for Orderly Bank Restructuring (FROB) has agreed this afternoon to relieve the current president of CatalunyaBanc, Adolf Todó, by José Carlos Pla, who until three weeks ago drove CajaSur. Pla shall carry out the restructuring of the entity that is filing belting structure to commercial banks in Catalonia, and then sell it. The FROB, the sole shareholder of the old box, Pla proposed for appointment to the Board of Directors of the Catalan "in the coming days", as reported this afternoon in a statement.
Pla is a specialist in bank provisioning processes.
