The Economy Minister Luis de Guindos, has advanced on Tuesday that the Bank of Spain has estimated the fall of the Spanish economy in 2012 at 1.3%, a figure that has not released the financial supervisor and likely included in its next economic bulletin, which will be released in the coming days.
Guindos, as he spoke of the effort they are making all administrations to reduce the public deficit, has alluded to "very complex environment, with a fall in GDP is now the Bank of Spain said it was at around 1.3%."
However, the supervisor, which theoretically is an independent body, has not released its fall forecast for the full year, which usually includes one of the economic bulletin published by the last day of each month, so this week or next advertising will likely venture document that drop of 1.3% in 2012.
However, the figure has advanced Guindos attributing the Bank of Spain matches conducted by the Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz, while participating in Spain Investors Day last week. In fact, the very advanced Guindos days before the fall of GDP would be between 1.4% and 1.3%, improving government forecasts included in the macroeconomic, contemplating an economic contraction of 1.5 %
