Bankia and its parent , Banco Financiero y de Ahorros (BFA ) , have completed the sale of its stake in NH Hoteles 12,597 % for a total of 191.84 million euros , as reported on Friday the hotel chain National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). The transaction resulted in a net gain of approximately 63.7 million , the company added .
In total , BFA and Bankia have shed 38,834,034 shares of NH Hoteles, at a price of 4.94 euros per share , the same in which the shares closed Thursday hotel accommodation in the stock market . From such participation, BFA BFA controlled through Unlisted Equity 4.53% of the hotel company , while Bankia possessed 8.07% .
The sale process was performed by the method of accelerated placement , led by JB Capital Markets Securities Company , and in which also participated Bankia Bolsa de Valores Sociedad . The BFA- Bankia Group signed on 22 November with a mandate JB Capital Markets for finding deals over the existing holding in NH Hoteles.
This process is part of the fulfillment of the Strategic Plan 2012-2015 BFA- Bankia Group presented the November 28, 2012 , in which the divestiture of the investment portfolio is included . Bankia has divested shares already listed as Indra ( 20%), IAG ( 12%), Mapfre (12 % ) and in Inversis Bank Finanmadrid and other investees , for which revenue has joined 2200.5 million euros, with net gains from 429.3 million euros.
It also has in its portfolio with holdings in other companies like Mapfre (2.9% ), Iberdrola ( 5%), Deoleo (16.5%) , Metrovacesa ( 19%) or Realia ( 27.6%).
