Pontegadea Investment Society Amancio Ortega, Tuesday completed the sale of 4,059 % of capital held in NH Hotel Group, share valued at 59.2 million euros at the current market price, the Chinese group HNA . The titles of NH Hotel a rise of 4.64% were noted at the close of the market, at a price of 4,735 euros.
The sale of its stake of 12.51 million shares, responds to the option contract of the sale signed on October 11 between the two entities in the terms and conditions already agreed , as reported by both the National Commission Mercado de Valores ( CNMV ) .
Once the deal has materialized , HNA Group has established itself as shareholder of the hotel chain since raised its stake to 24.05% in the company.
Under the terms of the agreement, announced in early November , the price fixed in the transaction represented a 3.1% premium over the price of the securities.
The Chinese group landed in the capital of NH Hoteles last April, when he took a 20 % by subscribing to a capital increase amounting to 234,280,000 euros. Apart from HNA Group, with 24.05% in the capital of NH Hoteles Hesperia is also present , with 21.1 % and Intesa ( 4.5%).
Moreover, the sale of 12.6% stake in NH that had Bankia and its parent , Banco Financiero y de Ahorros (BFA ) , has rescinded the shareholders' agreements . In total , BFA and Bankia have shed 38,834,034 shares of NH Hoteles, at a price of 4.94 euros per share , the same in which the shares closed yesterday hotel accommodation in the stock market . The process of selling its stake in NH Hoteles was closed for a total of 191.84 million euros.
