The persistent increase in the national debt because of the deficit, the bank bailout and the crisis has led Spain to set a new milestone. Thus, according to Eurostat published Wednesday , the Spanish debt outperformed the eurozone for the first time since reaching there the Single 93.4% of GDP in the third quarter coin . In the euro area , this figure stood at 92.6 %.
According to data published European statistical office , the Spanish public debt climbed 92.2% in the second quarter to 93.4 % of GDP in the third quarter. In the whole of the eurozone , however , is down 93.3 % compared to that presented at the end of June. It retrospect , it is the first time that the public debt of eurozone downward since 2007.
