Madrid will host on 15 and 16 January the third edition of 'Spain Investors Day'
Large companies listed Spanish and international investors will gather at the forum to generate business opportunities

The third edition of the Financial Forum Spain Investors Day (SID) will gather in Madrid for Spanish listed companies and large international investors meeting on 15 and 16 January 2013. The meeting, as has taken place in the past, works as a kind of road show focused on two days in which the forum brings together investors and business managers to facilitate business opportunities. According to the organizers of the meeting in a statement, the main objective will be this year, as in the previous two occasions, presenting the potential for major companies listed on the IBEX 35 "in order to attract the interest of the most important managers international funds, large institutional and private investors and sovereign wealth funds. "
In the previous edition involvement nearly 200 international investors (75%) and national (25%), from countries like the U.S., Britain, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Norway and Spain and held 25 475 plenary meetings and personal encounters. In this third edition expect to break the record crowd of investors and listed companies. "Now more than ever our leading companies must demonstrate their potential in an environment of constant change and opportunity, which will help not only in raising money but to boost the country's economic activity given the relevance and representativeness of the participants", has expressed through a statement, the president of SID, Blas Calzada.

Prescriptions for large investors and managers
Besides large companies and investors, the event was last year with the presence of some representatives of the then new government of Mariano Rajoy, as Industry Minister Jose Manuel Soria, or Secretary of State for Finance, Miguel Ferre. Investors demanded that the new government which not delay the implementation of structural economic reforms, particularly in the labor and financial, and not give back to the use of policies to promote growth.
