The European Union (EU) has achieved in early Wednesday, after more than 40 hours of intense negotiations, a deal on the European Maritime and Fisheries, which helps keep scrapping and temporary cessation of the fleet, as Spain asked.

The Fund will also include aid to promote aquaculture, support for young people and investments to diversify the income of fishermen by developing complementary activities.
Storage aid, which Spain and three other countries wanted to keep costs to finance the recall of fish products to a crisis situation, go ahead, but its share will decline gradually from 2014 until their total elimination in 2019.
