The end of the tourist season fires the unemployed in the service sector, where there have been 7,398 job applications during the month of September. Another significant finding is the fall in the number of Social Security members, which fell in 18,985 people in September in Valencia with the previous month, to 1.20%. The total membership stood at 1,560,557.
Compared with September 2011, Social Security has lost 89,206 members, representing a decrease of 5.41%, according to data released by the Ministry of Employment.
