Retail sales grow in seven autonomous, but employment in the sector falls

The retail sales in March rose in seven regions over the same month last year , but the rate of employment in the sector declined 0.8 %.
According to data released today by the National Statistics Institute ( INE) relating to Index Retail Trade (ICM ) , the largest retail sales increases were in Basque Country (4.5% ), Canary Islands (3.7 % ) and Balearic Islands (3.2%) in addition to the autonomous cities of Ceuta ( 4.3%) and Melilla ( 4.1%).
By contrast , retail trade fell in March in nine regions over the same month of 2013 , with the largest declines in Castilla y León (4.4% ), Asturias ( 2.8%) and Aragón (2.4% ) .
In the whole country , retail sales at constant prices - deleted - inflation rose 0.6 % in March compared to the same month last year , so this indicator has broken with a run of three consecutive months low , according to the INE .
In terms of employment in the sector , which fell 0.8% in March compared to the same month last year , the largest decreases were located in Murcia ( 2.2% ), Madrid ( 1.9%) and Catalonia ( 1.4% ) .
While in the Canary Islands ( 2.2% ), Balearic Islands ( 1.5%) and La Rioja and Castilla -La Mancha (both 0.3 % ) the largest increases in employment were recorded.

3月の小売売上高は前年同月7の地域で上昇したが、部門の雇用率は0.8％の減少となりました。
インデックス小売業（ ICM ）に関する国家統計院（ INE ）が本日発表したデータによると、最大の小売売上高の増加はバスク（ 4.5％ ） 、カナリア諸島（ 3.7％だった）とセウタ（ 4.3％ ）とメリリャ（ 4.1％ ）の自治都市に加えて、バレアレス諸島（ 3.2％ ） 。

Im ganzen Land , die Einzelhandelsumsätze in konstanten Preisen -deleted- Inflation um 0,6 % im März im Vergleich zum gleichen Monat des Vorjahres, so dass dieser Indikator mit einer Auflage von drei aufeinander folgenden Monaten gebrochen günstig , gemäß der INE .
