ANALYSIS
Public health, untouchable
92% of the Spanish clearly positive evaluates the qualifications and skills of the doctors and nursing staff of public

The Spanish lived initially the current economic crisis as a kind of tsunami: something unexpected, sudden and devastating. Then, having gradually aware of the catastrophic situation resulting, concluded that the country had been so damaged and depleted that it would take many years to recover. And that began to gradually step in the collective spirit, a new feeling and increasingly detectable in the polls: irritation, even anger, at the continuing impunity of those who caused the current collective drama, or allowed or he took advantage. Citizens increasingly bear worse opinion data are increasingly resounding-that the Government has to give successive and seemingly endless, turns of the screw in the benefit cuts and tax increases, largely due of public money that had to be pumped to certain financial institutions mismanaged and plundered without, in return, has demanded redress to those who led to this critical situation.
But there is a red line that the public does not seem willing to allow, resignedly, that is transferred: it delimits the Public Health as has so far been operating. A recent survey showed Metroscopia two in three believe Spanish preferable to let fail banks and savings have been made worthy of that end before damaging our current public health system. This is an intense source of national pride, the crown jewel of our institution. And on this issue the public knows of what he speaks: 69% of the Spanish public health uses only, 24% uses both public and private healthcare, depending on the case, and only 7% used exclusively health Private.
The message is clear citizen:
Do not touch. At any cost
Current survey data are unequivocal: 92% of the entire Spanish population clearly positive evaluates preparedness and competence of doctors and nurses in public schools, 90% and also evaluates hospital care received by sick, in case of urgency or emergency, 71% prefer to go-if you choose-give him to a public hospital rather than a private one, and if an operation-serious or not, over 70% would opt for the public hospital. And this says even the majority (54%) of those who only use private healthcare!
The privatization of the management of public hospitals clear majority arouses suspicion among those who only use both public health and-significantly-between those who come only to private healthcare. Neither believe that with that privatized management is to improve the health system, or waiting lists or the technical or material, or the care or treatment.
The message seems clear city: public health and leave, no experience with it, do not touch. At any cost.
