The Banco de Valencia has signed the contract to transfer assets to the Asset Management Company from the Bank Restructuring (Sareb), so transferred to the called "bad bank" assets of 1,932 million euros.
According to information reported today the financial institution to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the contract, formalized on 21 December, is the effective date of December 31, 2012.
The price will be satisfied by issuing debt securities to be issued by Sareb, which will have the guarantee "irrevocable" Spanish State, reports the Bank of Valencia.
The company was acquired by Caixabank for the symbolic price of one euro, clean brick (thanks to the transfer of assets to the bad bank), European funds and recapitalized under asset protection scheme on loans to SMEs.
