One hundred people participated in marches organized by the Trade Union of Workers Andaluz (SAT) have occupied the farm this afternoon and Moaratalla palace in Hornachuelos (Córdoba). The union and parliamentary leader of United Left Andalusia, Juan Manuel Sánchez Gordillo, said they do not intend to leave the place until a complaint is filed and a warrant is issued. At the gates and around the farm remain about 60 Civil Guard officers.
The palace is in Moratalla reform processes for years. Currently owned by a chain of luxury hotels. The property is not open to customers although there have been various banquets and weddings. Also important announcements have rolled signatures. The gardens are protected for their value.
The union had announced that would make a share on its way to Cordoba, where tomorrow they planned a protest against the central government representatives. Its owner, Juan José Primo Jury has warned participants of the marches that will not allow a breach of the law or permitted routes in the protests.
At present witnesses on the farm indicate that the occupants are quiet pending the food arrives or the warrant of eviction. Some have chosen to use the pool to cool off. The province is now in the strong heat alert.
