The Social Security loses 84,829 foreign affiliates in a year
Despite rising 0.25% in July contributors, low added 4.59% in the full year

Total foreign Social Security members sum up five months. Compared with the previous year, however, there are 84,829 fewer foreign affiliates. The number of casualties in the past year has fallen by 4.59% compared to 3.43% of the whole system.
Figures released Tuesday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security show that the trend already noted in previous months, ie job loss affects more strongly to foreign workers to nationals.
In July, members immigrants rose 0.25%, with 4412 higher than the previous month. This rise is mainly due to crop and season.

Employed foreigners accounted for 10.36% of the 17,032,738 members in social security. Most of them quoted the General Regime (1,528,708), compared to that of 217,836 registered Autonomous 12,742 to the home (extinct since late June), 5128 to 519 at sea and Coal.

By place of origin, 667,718 come from the European Union and other countries 1,097,214. The largest percentage of members come from Romania, followed by Morocco and Ecuador.
The foreign affiliates are concentrated in Catalonia (22.67%), Madrid (20.88%), Andalusia (11.67%) and Valencia (10.25%). Communities with less presence of foreign workers in late July were Navarra (1.37%), Extremadura (0.88%), Asturias (0.84%), La Rioja (0.80%) and Cantabria (0, 70%).
