More than a third of the councilors of the City of Barcelona earns gross wages greater than 100,000 per year. The Consistory has 41 councilors and 15 exceed that amount, according to the documents that they have placed in the Public Register of Interests to attest to their income in 2012.
Jordi Portabella (ERC)
Salary: 129,748 euros
As Councillor and Chairman of Unitat per Barcelona: 87,437. Diets: 42,311 euros of AMB, the Port, ATM, Fira, Localred, Tersa and TMB.
The statement contains, on the one hand, his salary and allowances as members or attend meetings of other organizations (many Barcelonès the District Council and the Barcelona Metropolitan Autoritat (AMB) and, secondly, heritage of their disposal.
At the top, figure the mayor Xavier Trias (CiU) with a salary of 143,708 euros, which bends to the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy (72,600 euros). Artur Mas, president of the Generalitat, must collect 144,030 euros in 2012, but eventually gave up pay. Antoni Vives (CiU)
Salary: 129,719 euros
As a third deputy mayor: 93,157. Diets: 36,562 euros for the WBA, the Port, ATM, Fira, Localred, Tersa and TMB.
In his statement, Portabella exceptionally explains that is "forced" into this mandate to represent his party in many organizations in the past to achieve a single municipal councilor for Barcelona (formed coalition with Joan Laporta, former deputy to the Parliament and declares 93,556 euros). The Republican added that a month donated 1,000 euros to environmental groups and aid to education. After Portabella, appears the third deputy mayor of Urban Habitat, Antoni Vives (CiU), with 129,719 euros, 36,562 of them in diets.
The rest of the councilors who charge ratio over 100. 000 up six of the CiU, PSC two, two and two of PP Initiative. Eight of them exceeds 110,000, more than the 108,000 euros counselors entering the Generalitat. Only two councilors have given up some of their assigned diets. Joaquim Forn, deputy mayor, said revenues 114,982 euros, 21,825 in allowances. Resigned to collect stipulated by presiding Metropolitan Transport (TMB), about 4,000 euros. And Jordi Martí, who does not enjoy the sympathy of the PSC apparatus and maintaining strained relations with his group, displayed at the last plenary, resigned by letter to the WBA diets (2,392 euros). Most councilors supplement their salaries with the subsistence allowance or in their capacity as members, can not charge two public salaries, or attending meetings of organizations such as the County Council Barcelonés-in process of being abolished, which has typified as four different types of compensation.
Many entities, however, not paid diets. The deputy mayor Jaume Ciurana, Antoni Vives and Sònia Recasens attend meetings of 71, 49 and 45 companies, respectively, without compensation.
Sonia Recasens (CiU)

As second deputy mayor: 93,157. Diets: 24,446 euros of the Vice President of the WBA, Zone and ATM.
The municipal groups recall that diets have a retention of 40%. Last October, the WBA approved a reduction supplements to the Metropolitan Council and its Governing Board. The savings was 55,930 euros. For other parties, such as Initiative for Catalonia (ICV-EUiA), the councilors have to spend between 21 and 27% of their salary to the party.
Trias campaign promised to make public the salaries and heritage of the councilors. Initiative and PP also defended their leaders and then spread their assets. But it was in October when all groups agreed on how to make the statements. This newspaper has had access to them through a formal request to the General Secretariat records.
The statements reveal first global revenues of councilors, but no city agency verifies that the information provided is truthful. In fact, many councilors disregarded instructions not disaggregate formats to their diets.
