The Government wants the state to cede part of the margin that the Eurogroup has taken to meet the deficit target for 2012 which rose from 5.3% to 6.3%. The Minister of Economy, Andreu Mas-Colell, shall require the State to yield to the autonomous part of the room to increase its deficit, which could end the year with a 2% increase in revenue expenditure.
