The Popular Party spokesman in the House of Representatives, Alfonso Alonso, announced that its formation will record the request of the appearance of 24 bankers and political protagonists of the crisis of the boxes. The party's appointment to the Committee on Economy of FROB (Restructuring Fund Management and Banking) and calls for intervention "in the open, openly and." These are their biographies:
Rodrigo Rato Figaredo (Madrid, 1949). Law degree and a doctorate in economics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). He started in politics in 1979, Alianza Popular. He joined the ranks of the Popular Alliance in 1987. In 1995 he was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance of the Generalitat of Valencia by Eduardo Zaplana. From 1993 to 2002, served as labor secretary general of the Popular Party of the Valencian Community. In 2002, Olivas became president of the Generalitat, to 2003. In 2004, he left active politics and became president of Bancaja and Banco Valencia. Olivas has been vice president of Bankia. He resigned the vice presidency of Bankia in November 2011, and in May 2012 as president of Bancaja.
Pedro Solbes Mira (Alicante, 1942). Minister of Economy and Finance between 2004 and 2009. Ph.D. in Political Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, has held the positions of Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1991) and Minister of Economy and Finance (1993-1996) during the governments of Felipe González (PSOE). In 1999 he was appointed Commissioner and assumed the Ministry of Economy, a position he held until 2004 when he joined the Executive Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. He was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance from 2004 until, in April 2009, was replaced by Elena Salgado. In 2011, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Enel, Endesa owned Italian power. Since then, he combined that occupation with his position as adviser to the British bank Barclays in Spain.
ELENA SALGADO MENDEZ (Orense, 1949). Minister of Economy and Finance between 2009 and 2011 and financial vice president of the Government in 2011. Industrial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, he also studied economics. He held the Ministry of Health (2004-2007) and Public Administration (2007-2009) in the government of Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero (PSOE). In 2009 Pedro Solbes relieved as Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the first woman in Spain to take on this portfolio. In 2011 he took over as vice president for economic affairs. The latter two charges were held until the end of the legislature in the elections of November 20, 2011. On March Salgado joined the board of Chilectra, the electric distribution company in Chile that is part of Enersis, Endesa dependent.
LUIS DE GUINDOS JURY (Madrid, 1960). Minister of Economy and Competitiveness from that on November 20, 2011, Mariano Rajoy (PP) won the general election. Bachelor of Economics and Business Studies University College, was responsible for the economic program of the PP in the 2004 elections, after whose defeat had to return to the private sector where he worked for the U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers in Spain and Portugal. He resigned shortly after the subprime mortgage scandal in 2008 caused the bankruptcy of the entity, one of the five largest investment banks in the world.
JOSÉ MANUEL FERNANDEZ CAMPA (Oviedo, 1964). Secretary of State for Economics since May 14, 2009 until December 23, 2011. Degree in Law and Economics from the University of Oviedo and Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. Until his appointment as Secretary of State for Economics, was a consultant to the World Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, European Commission and the International Monetary Fund, among others. In January 2012 he rejoined the faculty of IESE Business School, University of Navarra as Professor of Financial Management, as it occupied before being appointed Secretary of State for Economic Affairs.

He also served as Economic Counselor at the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union (1989-1993), and CEO of Competition (2002-2004). Since 2004, is associate director of National Economic Research Associates Economic Consulting, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan, where he has directed competitive practices, damage assessment and the stock market.

He was also finance minister and chairman of the State Tax Administration Agency (2004-2006) with Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero. Last June he left his position in the Bank of Spain, a month ahead of schedule.

After the nationalization of BFA-Bankia, finished his duties as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Spain.

FERNANDO LOZANO Restoy (Madrid, 1961). Vice President of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) since 2008. Degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He was director of the Department of Monetary and Financial Studies of the Bank of Spain (2001-2007) and adviser to the CNMV (2007-2008). He has been named deputy director of the Bank of Spain last June 16, 2012.
José Ignacio Goirigolzarri Tellaeche (Bilbao, 1954). Bankia president since last May 9, 2012. Degree in Economics from the University of Deusto, he joined the Banco de Bilbao in 1977. In 1999 he took over the exclusive BBVA in Argentina, and in 2001 was appointed general manager of BBVA, then CEO of the bank, a post he held until 2009. Since 2010 is CEO of Bank Savings Financial, parent of Bankia, which has been nationalized.

He is currently vice president of the entity.
SERRA SERRA I NARCÍS (Barcelona, 1943). Bachelor of Economics (University of Barcelona). Mayor of Barcelona from 1979 to 1982. Minister of Defense during the first socialist government in 1982. In 1991, became executive vice president, where he remained until his resignation in 1995, along with Justice Minister Julian Garcia Vargas, of the illegal wiretapping of CESID (Center for Defense Information). From 1996 to 2000 was retained as general secretary of the PSC (Socialist Party of Catalonia). Serra has been president of Caixa Catalunya, a position he was from 2005 to 2010.
ADOLF ALL ROVIRA (Castellbel i el Vilar, 1956). He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego in 1987. That same year, he began his career as a professor in the departments of Economics and Finance from ESADE. From 1989 to 1994, he led the Corporate Banking Multibanca Sabadell. In 1995, Todó was appointed CEO of Caixa Manresa, since they remained until 2008. Since then, deals with the general direction of Caixa Catalunya and, since 2010, the CatalunyaCaixa (resulting from the merger of Caixa Catalunya, Caixa Tarragona i Caixa Manresa). Reached in 2011 as chief executive of Banc Catalunya.
VARELA MAURO PEREZ (Lugo, 1941). Attorney at Law, inherited from his father a law firm, where he began his career in 1965. Deputy from the Popular Party in 1989, 1993 and 1996, so was the Parliament of Galicia. In 2002, became president of Caixa Galicia (entity that was linked from 1978) and, since 2010, co-chaired along with Julio Fernandez Gayoso Novacaixagalicia (merger of Caixa Galicia and Caixa Nova). He resigned this office in late June 2012.
Julio Fernandez Gayoso (Vigo, 1931) At 16 he entered as accounting clerk in the Savings and Municipal Pawnshop Vigo. It's been 50 years Caixavigo CEO and president of Caixa Nova from 2000 to 2006. Novacaixagalicia Co-Chair since 2010. His resignation occurred on June 28, 2012, three days after Varela.
CASTELLANOS JOSE MARIA RIVERS (A Coruña, 1947). Degree in Economics from the University of Santiago de Compostela. Doctor in Economics and Business and Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of A Coruña. Member of the Board of Directors of Inditex since 1985, the company that since 1997, he served as CEO and vice president. His differences with Amancio Ortega led him to resign in 2005. In 2008 he was appointed president of ONO. In 2011, he joined the restructuring of Novacaixa Galicia, and was appointed CEO of Bank NCG.
Juan Pedro Hernandez Molto (Alicante, 1952). Bachelor of Economics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). Socialist Party member since 1976. He served as Deputy Secretary-General of the PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha in 1989, and was general secretary of the Socialists in this community from 1990 to 1997. It was two years -1981 and 1982 - head of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Regional Government. Then he took over the Ministry of Economy, Finance, Trade and Tourism (1982-1983) and the Treasury (1983-1988) of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha. Became president of Castilla-La Mancha in 1999, and remained there until 2009, when she underwent after the Bank of Spain Unicaja tried to stay with the organization.
GOMEZ SANTIAGO SIERRA (Madridejos, Toledo, 1957). Degree in Philosophy and Education Sciences (Universidad Complutense de Madrid). Jaume Ribera SAFE (Terrassa, 1952). Industrial PhD (University of Catalonia). In 1978 he won a Fulbright scholarship for a doctorate at the University of Florida in Mathematical Systems Theory. He was professor of Production and Operations Management at IESE since 1982. Bank entered into the Board of Directors and the General Assembly in 1999 Caixa Terrassa. He was named president of the organization in 2009, and in 2011, President Unnim, the year the entity was nationalized by the state.
GOMEZ AURELIO LEFT (Murcia, 1961). Bachelor of Economics and Business Administration. José Luis Olivas elevated him to the Directorate General of Bancaja in 2007. In 1988, he joined Valencia Savings Bank, and developed the project after Bancaja. Earlier, he worked for Arthur Andersen consultant in 1983 - and the BBVA-from 1984 to 1988 -. Following the resignation of Jose Luis Olivas in October 2011, became president of Bancaja.
