IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde said today that despite the current stability perceived "dark tendencies" in the global economy, as the "signs of slowdown in some emerging" and "deadlock" in which there is the eurozone.

"We are glimpsing some gloomy trends. Recent data, for example, suggest some slowdown in growth," Lagarde said at a conference at the Brookings Institution in Washington.

Among them, he mentioned the "weakness" of recent economic activity in China, the steep spending cuts in the U.S. and the "dead" which is the eurozone economy.
