 More than 218,000 immigrants and asylum seekers have arrived in October to European shores across the Mediterranean, a record high, according to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), nearly equivalent to the number recorded throughout 2014.

A UNHCR spokesman Adrian Edwards confirmed Monday in October reported "218,394" arrivals, up from the 172,843 in September. "It's the highest balance for any month so far and almost equivalent to around 2014" when UNHCR registered 219,000 arrivals.

According to data from UNHCR and International Organization for Migration (IOM), in so far this year, more than 700,000 people have crossed the Mediterranean in search of the European dream. Of these, more than 3,200 have lost their lives at sea and shipwrecks still occur virtually daily in front of the Greek islands in the Aegean.

 以上218000移民や庇護希望者は、2014年全体で記録された数とほぼ同等の国連難民高等弁務官事務所（UNHCR）によると、地中海、レコード高全体のヨーロッパの海岸に10月に到着しました。

UNHCRの広報担当者エイドリアン・エドワーズは、月曜日は10月に9月にアップ172843から、「218394」の到着を報告したことが確認されました。 UNHCRは219,000到着を登録されている「それは、これまでとほぼ2014年の周りに相当する任意の月のための最高のバランスです」。

UNHCRと国際移住機関（IOM）のデータによると、今年これまでに、70万人以上の人がヨーロッパの夢の検索では、地中海を渡ってきました。このうち、3,200人以上が海で命を失っているし、沈没船はまだエーゲ海にあるギリシャの島々の前に事実上毎日起こります。

 Mehr als 218.000 Einwanderer und Asylbewerber haben im Oktober auf den europäischen Küsten über das Mittelmeer, ein Rekordhoch kam, nach dem UN-Hochkommissar für Flüchtlinge (UNHCR), nahezu äquivalent zu der Anzahl der ganzen 2014 aufgezeichnet.

Ein UNHCR-Sprecher Adrian Edwards bestätigte Montag im Oktober berichtet, "218394" Ankünfte, aus dem 172.843 im September. "Es ist der höchste Saldo für jeden Monat so weit und fast umgerechnet rund 2014" beim UNHCR registrierten 219.000 Ankünfte.

Nach Angaben von UNHCR und der Internationalen Organisation für Migration (IOM), soweit in diesem Jahr mehr als 700.000 Menschen haben das Mittelmeer auf der Suche nach dem europäischen Traum gekreuzt. Von diesen wurden mehr als 3.200 ihr Leben verloren auf See und Schiffswracks noch nahezu täglich vor den griechischen Inseln in der Ägäis kommen.
