Registrations of trucks and buses in the Spanish market in October stood at 2038 units, representing a decrease of 4% compared to the figures recorded in the same month last year, according to manufacturers' associations (Anfac) , dealers (Faconauto) and sellers (Ganvam).
In the first ten months of the year, deliveries of commercial vehicles and buses reached a volume of 12,485 units, representing a decrease of 21.2% compared with figures for the same period a year earlier.
The three employers said the commercial vehicles segment is suffering the consequences of a lack of funding, the decline in industrial activity and transport. In this regard, said that Spain should return to levels "more suitable" for such vehicles, "which are a key indicator of economic activity in this country."

Meanwhile, registrations of medium sized vehicles fell 22.2% last month, with 112 units, and 30.4% in the first ten months, with 1,535 units. In October 1734 heavy trucks were sold (-1.3%) and 8818 units so far in 2012 (-15.7%).
Deliveries of buses, coaches and minibuses stood at 140 units in October, 19.5% less, and 1702 units in the full year, 30.5% less. In October they traded 92 coaches and buses, 38.7% less, and 1,254 units through October, up 35.8%, while sales of minibuses doubled in October, with 48 units, and were down 9.7% on aggregate, with 448 units.
