A government delegation led by Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, his counterpart in charge of Industry, Trade and Tourism, José Manuel Soria, and Secretary of State for Trade and president of ICEX, Jaime García-Legaz, attend to Spain Investors Day to sell the opportunities offered by the country and attract foreign investment.
The third edition of this forum, which will be attended by 200 international investors and which will be attended 35 major Spanish companies, will take place on 15 and 16 January. In it, the participating companies and foreign investors will have the opportunity to meet, at the highest level of institutional representation, the economic situation of our country and the future plans for the Spanish economy.
The Secretary of State for Trade and president of ICEX, Jaime García-Legaz, will speak at the official opening on 15 January before international investors and senior managers of listed companies. Margallo ministers preside Soria and lunches provided 15 and 16 and maintain two separate conversations with investors. The Spanish economy and the investment potential of our companies will be among the topics of open discussion between the government and international investors.
Spain Investors Day will surpass previous figures. It already has the participation of 35 listed companies representing more than 70% of the IBEX and all sectors of activity. They will be in this edition: Abengoa, Abertis, Acciona, Acerinox, ACS, Amadeus, Banco Popular, Sabadell, Bankia, Bankinter, BBVA, BME, Caixabank, Catalana Occidente, Cecabank, Day, Ebro Foods, Enagas, Gamesa, Jazztel, Iberdrola, Indra, Mapfre, OHL, ONO, Prosegur, Red Eléctrica, Repsol, Sacyr, Técnicas Reunidas, Telefonica, the world of communication, PRISA, Mediaset, Antena 3 and Vocento.
Spain Investors Day has a Committee of Honor chaired by King of Spain. The Advisory Board is chaired by Blas Calzada, president of the CNMV, and consists of businessmen and members of academic institutions.
