German Finance Minister announces loan for ICO

German Finance Minister, Wolfgang Schäuble, has exposed Thursday before Parliament's budget committee plans loan program Germany Spanish SMEs aimed at boosting the flow of credit to businesses.
The meeting, held behind closed doors, is the first to be held at that level and takes place a few weeks after Schäuble and the Spanish Minister of Economy and Competitiveness Luis de Guindos, announced in Loja (Granada) a plan for SMEs.
According to Finance Minister said after leaving the committee, with the agreement German Credit Bank for Reconstruction and Development (KfW) will make its Spanish counterpart, the Official Credit Institute (ICO), a loan program favorable conditions to provide liquidity to small and medium enterprises. A second part of the plan would be to create an investment fund open to German private equity, he added.
So far no official figures on the amount of the program, as it is subject to negotiation, but is believed to be between 800 and 1,000 million euros.
The KfW will provide loans, which should be guaranteed by the German government, which implies the development of a plan agreed between the Ministry of Finance and Economy Schäuble, the Rössler Phlipp liberal.
