Jazztel files complaints
The National Commission on Financial Markets and Competition ( CNMC ) has filed two complaints against Jazztel Vodafone and Orange, whom he accused of hampering competition.
Specifically , Jazztel reported , in February 2013 , offers ' Base Vodafone ADSL 2 + ', ' Vodafone ADSL Base 3 + ' and ' Vodafone ADSL RED' of the Spanish subsidiary of UK and a month later, the rates ' Dolphin 12 + to 20 Mb ADSL ' and ' Kangaroo 45' Orange to consider that these convergent offers these companies prevent " emulate and replicate " convergent offers in " identical terms."
The CNMC , which closed this file whenever the Jazztel last November sent a letter by indicating his willingness to " give up their claims ," recalls the convergent offers increased penetration in the Spanish market after that the first half of 2012 Jazztel and Ono launched the first offerings of this type and especially following the release of ' Movistar Fusion , in October the same year.
Also, the controller displays the main players , including Jazztel, have convergent offers in their trading portfolios that are comparable . For this reason, CNMC concludes that neither the offer of Vodafone, Orange or being an "impediment " to the expansion in the market of other operators like Jazztel.
