The National Court judge Fernando Andreu agreed, at the request of the prosecution, defendants cite as four other directors of the entity and exdirectivos under the 'case Bankia', which investigates the IPO of the group and the reformulation of their accounts. Among the four, is the current secretary of the Board of Directors of Bankia and its parent BFA, Miguel Crespo, and Manuel Lagares, CEO BFA investee. Joining them are accused former deputy general director of Internal Audit Bankia, Miguel Angel Soria and former chief financial and risk of Bankia Barcoj Ildefonso Sanchez, also accused in the 'case Blesa'.
Andreu will take statements at a date yet to be determined, according to a ruling after the prosecution has seen fit to meet their version of the opening stock of Bankia and reformulating their accounts after hearing the members of the Board of Directors and auditor Deloitte partner Francisco Celma. "However," says the Attorney General in his report, "on any of these two fundamental aspects of the complaint has been received statements from those who were responsible for preparing the annual accounts and certified".
For the prosecutor, this hearing is necessary "in order not to leave incomplete the investigation, as it would be incongruous criminal reproach makers or approve the bills, but not those who direct and coordinate its development".
At the time when the group presided Rodrigo Rato, the area responsible for processing information and financial data of BFA and Bankia was the overall direction and financial risks in the hands of Sanchez Barcoj until his departure in May 2012 , after the arrival of Mr. Goirigolzarri to the entity.
Andreu also charged three other directors: Soria, who left the group around the same time and was responsible for the internal audit Lagares, despite its entry into Bankia is produced in October 2011, after the IPO group, and Crespo, secretary of the organization but is not a member of the board or participate in the preparation of accounts.
The judge also requested, also at the request of the prosecutor, that free trade to the Bank of Spain to receive the reports on inspection visits to Bancaja in 2008, 2009 and 2010, just as the court held by the corresponding to Caja Madrid.
