The Spanish market the car close 2012 as the worst year ever since the statistical series are available (1989), with approximately 700,000 cars and sport-utility vehicles and registered a fall of approximately 13% over the year 2011.
The closure, relieved by the new 55,000 registrations made under this Plan PIVE, is estimated in the absence of a working day to close the enrollment record December, ending with a fall of 21% over December 2011, although this last month of 2012 has three working days less.
