In Castilla-La Mancha and are five communities that have chosen to go to this bailout, worth 18,000 million euros, with which the government wants to provide liquidity to regional accounts. The Government joins castellanomanchego decisions taken by Valencia (4500), Catalonia (5023), Murcia (600) and Andalusia (4906), which would barely more 3,000 million for other communities, which have until December 31 to qualify for the fund.
The Minister of Finance, Arturo Romani, has insisted the request does not qualify as a "rescue" but "a mechanism of liquidity support." Roma has said that the regional government has analyzed the conditions assumed eligible for this fund and said that "pose no new conditionality on our obligations for welcoming us to other mechanisms such as payments to suppliers", for which requested 3000 million. "There will be extraordinary to take any action but only adjust the plan that we have," he reiterated. The director has also qualified as "very favorable", which, being variable, is now set in the Treasury rate plus 30 basis points.
The minister also stressed that the important thing is to fulfill the commitments made in the Council of Fiscal and Financial Policy, in particular the reduction of the public deficit to 1.5% this year and 0.7% in 2013.
"You have to take it as normal. And it's okay to ask for help when it comes to pay and fulfill our responsibilities," he assured Cospedal, after attending the inauguration of Ignacio Gonzalez as president of the Community of Madrid. Cospedal has highlighted the fact that this is a fairly low compared to the 3,000 million accumulated deficit last year. "Now we also want to pay financial debts that we have taken," he added. The figure prompted Liquidity Fund accounts for around 10% of the financial debt accumulates castellanomanchego Government.
"I blush to say when we will ask to pay state aid," said Cospedal itself this morning. Indeed, President castellanomanchega already admitted in August that if the region came this fund enabled the Government will be to deal with the maturities of bank loans requested by the former regional government, the PSOE.
Shortly after learning of the decision of the president of Castilla-La Mancha, the secretary of the Socialist parliamentary group in the regional courts, José Manuel Caballero, praised the ransom demand as a "failure of the 16-month policy Cospedal cuts ". The Socialist leader, who has indicated that they will ask for urgent President, noted that "nothing has served thousands of layoffs and cuts in social services and now shows that his policies have failed and that is to ask the rescue because revenues have plummeted abruptly. "
In addition, the Secretary General of the PSOE in Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano Garcia-Page, has said through his Twitter account that "Cospedal policy has failed. Fewer public services, less economic fabric, more unemployment in CLM and now a ransom of 800 million. " "Everything has Cospedal, ultimately, has served only to borrow more. More debt undoubtedly pay the next generations," he wrote.
