The Gazette (BOE) on Monday September 24 published annual accounts of the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) for fiscal year 2011. Among the information provided are the remuneration of directors of stock supervisor. The president still CNMV, Julio Segura, joined 149,326 euros gross per year, the same amount that the former vice president (left office in June to leave as Deputy Governor at the Bank of Spain), Fernando Restoy. Besides the two top executives of the agency, another 19 executives earned more than 100,000 per year. This group of people would have been even larger if not for some managers did not complete the full year with the CNMV.
Segura's salary is less than the remuneration received last year, the former governor of the Bank of Spain. The salary of Miguel Angel Fernandez Ordonez was 176,000 euros, while the body then number two, Javier Ariztegui, joined 199,000 euros. The payroll CNMV responsible, however, is almost double the salary of the Prime Minister.
