Versions of Morocco and the Frente Polisario to what happened in the Saharawi camp are diametrically different. The first claim that were entered without violence and the Sahrawi who used it. These versions are antithetical heard on Monday that Secretary of International Policy of the PSOE, Elena Valenciano, which met in Paris with actors in the conflict. The occasion was the meeting of the Council of the Socialist International which includes the Socialist Union of Popular Forces, Moroccan party involved in the Moroccan government.

Valencia also met with the National Liberation Front (FLN) of Algeria, located next to Western Sahara. The Polisario's Europe representative Mohamed Baissat, Valenciano had the largest meeting, which ended with a commitment to a meeting in Madrid between the PSOE and the Polisario. Both agreed that the solution must come from the United Nations.

Valencia, on the other hand, explained to the Moroccan socialist Spanish society, "uniquely, left, is the most sensitive of all Europe to the Saharawi claims. There will also be meeting both parties in Rabat. The Spanish Socialist delegation tries at all costs to keep channels open with both sides.
