Until 30 November it will discuss a parliamentary initiative (IU-ICV) including voting against the Government for its stance on the Sahara. But in the meantime, opposition groups take advantage of any loophole for the issue alive.
Esquerra Republicana has filed an urgent application to appear the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trinidad Jimenez. And Members of the United Left and ICV, Gaspar Llamazares and Nuria Buenaventura, have raised the tone of his criticism: "Spain should sue Morocco explicitly illegal and not" the opening of an investigation into what happened in Laayoune, and has to ask Rabat "responsibility for the consequences of the deaths, torture and all sorts of violations of human rights."
Almost below the PP's parliamentary spokesman, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, demanded that the vice president, Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, who "is not spreading the news blackout of Morocco."
Shortly thereafter, the Socialist leader appeared before the media, despite not having originally planned.
