Bankia starts tomorrow the capital in which 7910.3 million shares issued at a price of EUR 1.35266266 per share. The start of the operation involves an adjustment in the value of Bankia, tomorrow starts with a reference to 1.3777 euros per share, or 1.38 euros per round. Emption rights, meanwhile, start with a reference 9.92 euros, although it will be very difficult to resist minimally at those levels.
The bank's shares chaired by José Ignacio Goirigolzarri today have fallen 9.16% to 11.30 euros per share. But in the morning session, every action is segregated into two: first, the action itself and, secondly, the preferential subscription rights of the share capital of 10,700 million euros.
Since the securities are issued at a price well below the current price and a huge amount compared to the actions that are now in circulation, there is a great value adjustment action. Specifically, this value becomes 1.38 euros, but tomorrow's market will trade shares freely in accordance with supply and demand.
On the other hand, for each share will receive a preferential subscription right to purchase 397 new shares at the price of 1.35 euros. In theory this subscription right is valued at 9.92 euros, but in practice, will be freely tradable. Chances are that private investors just subscribe the capital increase and that this will end up being covered by the parent, Banco Financiero y de Ahorros. Under these conditions, it is logical that the real value of the preferential subscription rights tend to zero, so it would make sense today to start trading desplomasen.
