The delinquency rate rise remains in the first quarter of 2012

Defaults on loans to developers and real estate have gone up in the first quarter of 2012, bringing the volume of doubtful linked to accumulate brick two consecutive years of increases. With this new surge, delinquencies on loans to the brick has reached 22.8%, equivalent to 5,000 million more than in late 2011, leaving the total of 67,420 million doubtful. Since the Bank of Spain takes this data, at the start of 1999, did not touch these levels.
At this point, if the overall rate of delinquency is at 8.72% and nearly touching highs of 1993, when it reached 9.15%, defaults on the loans granted in the boom years of the promoters are the true distinguishing feature of the Spanish financial crisis, since there were not 19 years ago.

Doubts about the solvency of Spain are exacerbated
A good example of this is that real estate developer and was responsible for 60% of the rise in delinquencies recorded in all claims between January and March, when the volume of outstanding increased by 8,200 million.
