Si este álbum tiene algún mérito es que es la fiel confesión de mi intento en estos años, de analizar los motivos de mi caida; el porque he aguantado tantos años en la calle siendo consciente siempre -a pesar de mi dependencia del alcohol-, de que con mi alma anclada en el pasado, cada vez me sería mas difícil saltar el abismo que me separaba de la vida que corría paralela a mi, y terminaría siguiendo errante y desorbitado por el resto de mi vida.Esperando ese dia, ansiaba que llegara el momento, que al fin, yo consiguiese unir los lazos que me ligasen a todos los seres vivos del presente.Hago este trabajo porque no quiero -ni querré mientras viva- que estos quince años que he pasado en un derrumbe y desconsuelo permanentes, queden solamente como un desgraciado y trágico episodio de mi vida.Calles, carreteras, plazas, parques, cajeros, portales, centros de rehabilitación, hospitales, iglesisas, ocasionalmente pensiones inféctas y mas peligrosas que la misma calle, pisos compartidos con marginados como yo, tejados, túneles de tren, casas deshabitadas en ruinas…hasta que decidí, que ya que me consideraba sólo en el mundo, y aunque sabía que el frio que pasaría haría que me arrepintiese de haber nacido y que surgirían peligros diferentes a los de la ciudad, pero necesitaba sentirme libre de toda presencia humana, decidí pues irme cada noche a refugiarme en el bosque.Y también hago este trabajo por todos los desdichados hermanos en la indigencia y nuestras familias y amigos. Para intentar sanar o al menos aliviar las heridas que hemos causado en las personas que nos amaron, pidiéndoles humildemente perdón; ya que añadido al dolor que nuestar situación les producía se han sentido injustamente culpabilizados ante la imposibilidad y la impotencia de no poder ayudarnos. Ha sido así como he podido llegar a comprender que solamente podemos llegar a entender el dolor, cuando, además de sufrir nosotros, sentimos como propio el sufrimiento que hemos causado a las personas que más nos amaban.Hago este álbum por todos los hermanos indigentes que, de momento, hemos logrado salir de la calle y por las personas que nos han ayudado a conseguirlo. Por los indigentes, que por las razones que sean, deciden seguir aguantando en la calle. Por los que se quedaron tirados en cualquier lugar o se extraviaron por esos mundos de dios.Y por encima de todo, por todos los indigentes que fueron vilmente asesinados en la calle, a quienes mataron solamente por mostrar sus llagas y apartarse del rebaño de sus semajantes. Les mataron cobardemente por eso: Eran simplemente unos pobres e indefensos indigentes.Y recuerdo con tristeza queridos amigos mios, que se quedaron ingresados en cualquier centro de rehabilitación o en centros de salud mental de donde ya no tengo la esperanza de que jamás regresen.
